About BrokerDataNet
Our Mission
BrokerDataNet exists to give retail traders unbiased, data-driven broker comparisons. We collect over 100 data points per broker — spanning regulation, fees, platforms, instruments, education, and support — so traders can make informed decisions without having to navigate broker marketing material alone.
We cover 328+ brokers across major jurisdictions including the UK (FCA), EU (CySEC, BaFin), Australia (ASIC), and the United States (CFTC/NFA). Our goal is to be the most comprehensive and transparent broker intelligence resource on the web.
How We Make Money
BrokerDataNet earns affiliate commissions when users click broker links and open accounts. We disclose all commercial relationships and our editorial ratings are determined independently of affiliate relationships. Brokers cannot pay to improve their rating.
The commission amount we receive varies by broker. However, this variation does not affect the scores or rankings that appear on this site. Our scoring algorithm applies the same weighted criteria to every broker regardless of whether a commercial relationship exists.
We include and rate brokers that have no affiliate relationship with us. A broker's presence on this site is determined by its market relevance, not by a paid listing fee. For full details, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial ratings are produced by an algorithm-driven scoring system with transparent, published weights. No broker can influence its score by paying us or by requesting editorial changes. The safeguards we operate are:
- Algorithm-based scoring: Each broker's score is calculated from collected data points using the weighted criteria published on our Methodology page. Human editors do not override the numeric output.
- Compliance fact-checking: Every broker review is fact-checked by our Compliance & Regulation Editor against regulatory registers (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, etc.) and the broker's own website. Discrepancies are flagged and corrected before publication.
- Data verification: Broker data is verified against official sources: regulator registers, broker fee schedules, and platform documentation. We do not rely solely on broker-supplied information.
- Firewall between commercial and editorial teams: Affiliate relationship management is handled separately from broker research and scoring. The editorial team does not know the commission rate for any individual broker.
Our Team
BrokerDataNet is produced by a team of financial markets specialists with backgrounds in FX trading, compliance, data analysis, and financial journalism. Our reviewers hold real-world experience across the jurisdictions they cover. Each review is attributed to a named author and independently fact-checked by our compliance editor. Meet the team on our Editorial Team page.
